You can download our enrollment application by clicking on the link below or calling us direct at (504) 780-5632 to request the forms.*Enrollment to the New Orleans Jewish Day School is open to all children who meet the eligibility requirements regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, or sex. Admission Process: New admission applications for the 2009-2010 school year should be submitted by February 13, 2009 along with an application fee of $35.00 that is non-refundable. Children must be four (4) years old by August 31, 2009 to enter Pre-Kindergarten and five (5) years old by August 31, 2009 to enter Kindergarten. An intellectual assessment by a recognized individual or agency must be scheduled by March 6, 2009 for all new applicants entering K – 5th grades and the results must be communicated to the school for admissions acceptance. Pre Kindergarten applicants will be tested at the school site. A school records request and evaluation form will be sent to the child's present school by NOJDS. Transcripts must be submitted to the school for applicants entering 1st through 5th grades. Each applicant is reviewed individually. Acceptance is based on all information submitted to the school. Admission acceptance letters will be mailed March 20, 2009. *After these above dates admission is still accepted on space availability by grade. Just contact the admissions office as soon as possible. Scholarship Aid Financial need based scholarships are available for consideration upon request, with the properly submitted financial documents from the family. Please submit a letter of request to the school stating your reason and amount of financial aid needed along with your enrollment application. |
