NOJDS Admission Process for the 2011 - 2012 School Year

Admission applications for the 2010-2011 school year are now closed.
Admission applications for the 2011-2012 school year will open after the October Open Houses. 

Children must be four (4) years old to enter Pre-Kindergarten and five (5) years old to enter Kindergarten by September 30th of the year they are applying for entrance.

Pre K and Kindergarten students will be given a readiness screening at NOJDS and a class visit will be scheduled.

An intellectual assessment by a recognized individual or agency may need to be scheduled in February 2011 for all new applicants entering�1^st�� 5^th grades and the results must be communicated to the school for admissions acceptance. (Current assessments that have already been completed may be submitted in lieu of a new assessment.� Please check with the school about acceptable documentation.

A school records request and evaluation form will be sent to the child's present school by NOJDS.� Transcripts must be submitted to the school for applicants entering 1^st through 5^th grades.�

Each applicant is reviewed individually. Acceptance is based on all information submitted to the school.�

Admission acceptance letters will be�mailed by�February 28, 2011�to the parents after the committee has done a complete assessment of the student.
