Parent's Association

Dear Parents,

As we begin the 2008-2009 school year, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all of the new families joining NOJDS this year. Of course we would like to welcome back all of our returning families.

Just to give you some information on the Parent Association: We basically sponsor some of the activities and holiday functions throughout the school year. For instance, The Sukkot Luncheon, The Thanksgiving Feast, The Hanukkah Program, The Grandparents Luncheon, The Passover Seder and the Faculty Appreciation Luncheon, just to name a few.

We encourage you to join the Parent Association. Please keep in mind that in order to provide our children with all these little extras we depend on your generous membership dues. We ask that you please contribute a minimal $25.00 membership fee per family. We will be collecting dues on the night of the “Back to School dinner”, on Wednesday August 27th.

I would also like to thank those parents who have turned in their Volunteer forms. You will be hearing from me soon. We really appreciate your precious time.

Last but not least we will once again offer “Pizza Lunch” on Tuesdays. In addition to the pizza we will alternate “Macaroni and Cheese and Spaghetti Lunch” on Thursdays. We will get this started the first week in September. Forms will be sent home.
